I built StocksFast because the existing tools couldn't keep up with how I actually trade. I run multiple strategies across different timeframes: swing trades on weekly charts, position trades on monthly, quarterly, yearly charts, short-term plays on 2-3 day timeframes. TradingView has great charting, but I always seemed to fail to monitor each timeframe for completion to review all charts of interest. Manually checking which of my 2-day, 3-day, or weekly, 2-week setups had new bars to review was inconsistent at best, non-existent at worst.

The bigger problem was managing watchlists. I needed to track stocks that met specific price action and volume criteria across different timeframes and trading styles. Doing this manually is a losing battle. You either maintain rigid filters that miss opportunities, or you let your watchlists bloat into unusable messes. I needed a system that could automatically scan for my setups (things like higher highs on increasing volume, closes above key moving averages, or specific candlestick patterns), organize results by strategy and timeframe, and alert me when timeframes completed so I could review the charts that actually mattered.

Then there's position management. I'd enter trades based on solid price action setups, then completely forget to monitor them for exit signals or opportunities to add. I needed automated monitoring that would flag when my positions broke below support levels, showed volume exhaustion, or triggered other price action signals to exit or scale in. No existing tool did this well across multiple timeframes while also handling the scanning and watchlist organization I needed.

So I built StocksFast. It scans the entire market for my exact price action and volume criteria, organizes results by strategy and timeframe, tracks when each timeframe completes, and monitors my positions for key signals. It eliminated the manual tracking overhead and the friction that kept me from consistently reviewing my setups. Now the work happens automatically, and I focus on the charts that matter.
